ISDN, LAN, DSL, Cable Modem, Leased Line etc all are fully accessible from StingRay Mark IV and V models. With the widest choice of Protocol support (Leonardo, ISDN Manager, Leonardo over IP, FTP, Easy Transfer etc) communication is universal and delivery assured. The numerous connection types and protocols supported can be securely shared across the entire organisation network, making file transfer more flexible than ever before.
 

Configurations to suit your needs StingRay is designed to grow with the communication demands and transfer needs of an organisation. An external Ethernet port for IP connections ensures that the simplest ADSL router or even a MegaStream link can easily integrate with StingRay on the Internal network. The Browser and Client applications enable concurrent connections across the network, suitable for any size of organisation, however more licences can be purchased as required. For more demanding applications, customer specific models are available upon request and more than one StingRay can be used together for larger network environments requiring even higher data throughput. StingRay SDK (Software Development Kit) provides a programming interface enabling companies to write their own programmes and completely integrate StingRay into the existing corporate workflow.

Easy to Use StingRay is a pre-configured out-of-the-box solution ready for immediate operation. StingRay helps to shield users and the administrator from unnecessary technical complexities. Thanks to the simple and intuitive user interface, StingRay can be used, configured, and administered by even non-technical individuals using just a conventional browser.
 

Store and Forward Mechanism StingRay operates using a store and forward mechanism for both incoming and outgoing jobs. Jobs are sent from the internal user's machine across the internal network and once arrived on StingRay the server takes over the transmission and forwards the files to the receiving site according to priority, bandwidth, the remote sites' communication method etc. This has the advantage of not affecting the internal users once their file has left their hard drive.

Browser Interface and Client Applications Thanks to the intuitive and easy-to-use browser interface StingRay is truly multi-platform and can be used from any client computer in the network regardless of the operating system. All administrative tasks, regardless of client software are performed via the browser interface allowing the administrator full access to StingRay's operation from any workstation on the network. Grand Central Pro and Leonardo Internet Express also operate with StingRay for more demanding users, or simply those with established working practices. Grand Central Pro and StingRay allows users to pre-schedule jobs for specific times, automate their workflow using hot folders and send files directly out of DTP applications.

Expert Notification Thanks to StingRay's ability to integrate with internal email servers and an external SMS gateway, both Internal and External users can be notified of file arrivals or more importantly failure of delivery via email or text messaging.

Software Updates Downloaded update firmware and application software is easily imported into StingRay in a matter of minutes subject to hardware key allowing import function.
